Google has rolled out Android 7.1.2 Beta

Google has made the announcement that the company is rolling out Android 7.1.2 beta version. It is available for all testers having compatible devices. This update is focused on removing bugs and improving existing features. It will also provide few enhancements for Android users and carriers. May be this update will allow some carriers to offer VoLTE.

The compatible devices for beta build are Google Pixel XL, Nexus Player, Pixel, Pixel C and Nexus 5X. However, it is still not available on Nexus 6P and Google is working on it.

If you are a tester and want to sign up for the version you need to visit android.com/beta and then select the device you have. You will get an OTA notification for downloading and installation. You don’t need adb commands and fastboot for the process.

In few months, this update will be available for all Android users who own aforementioned devices.
