On Thursday, The apex court of Pakistan, Supreme Court, has reserved its decision in Panama Leaks case. The bench has stated that the decision will be announced on a later date.
Justice Khosa has ruled out the possibility of a short order and asserted that the bench will look further into the case from all angles.
He said, “We will take some time and look at the case in depth.”
A total of 26 proceedings of the Panama Case have been conducted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The petitions have been submitted by Shiekh Rasheed, PTI chief Imran Khan and Jamaat-e-Islami. PTI chief Imran Khan has been represented by Naeem Bokhari and PM Nawaz Sharif has been represented by Makhdoom Ali khan. Heads of FBR and NAB were also summoned by the apex court before it reserved its decision.

Justice Asif Saeed Khosa has headed the five member larger bench. The bench earlier continued the hearing of the filed petitions related to Panama Leaks case. Naeem Bokhari had to answer few queried. The last day proceeding was attended by eminent lawyers and politicians.
PTI lawyer Naeem Bokhari had cited the verdict given by the court in the case of PM Gillani. The bench replied to citation that the verdict was given in a case of contempt to court petition filed against the then-PM.
“This is also a petition filed against a Prime Minister who concealed his assets,” Naeem Bokhari argued.
Naeem Bokhari concluded his arguments by saying that PM Nawaz Sharif has not shown honesty.
Panama Case today has reached an impasse and public and political community is waiting for the decision.
